To make your MARK, passionately and without restrictions allowing yourself to really create an impression. I believe that art is so important to show our shared humanity and in empowering each other. We shouldn't just see art as a medium to create something physical but to create something emotional. It is something that we should all be able to share and experience. It is something that is universal and timeless that it will always be making an impression, a MARK.
The geometric shapes of the symbol create a triangle, a stylized ‘G’ and a rectangle. All represent art materials such an artists palette, the tip of a pen and brush and the shape of a canvas. This relates to the physical marks made by artists and helps to create an informed picture of our gallery even without visiting.
