Plant Based Kids Drink: Bear&Buds
A 2 day self directed project focused around creating a brand identity for a soft drink, targeted at young children. The brief was to convey a sense of comfort whilst still being modern in design.
To convey comfort I looked at how children feel safe and secure and landed on the idea of teddy bears. They are a key companion in many children’s lives and support the idea of being cosy and secure. As this was a vegan drink, the design needed to be colourful to suggest the prettiness of nature and the strength behind natural ingredients.
The name Bear&Buds comes from the combination of both teddy bears and flower buds. Both incorporating the value of nature and the importance of security.
